The Opportunity
Join a team of technical experts committed to providing exceptional customer-service. This position will challenge the individual to think critically while being trained on installation, operation and troubleshooting of planter systems, rate controllers, yield monitors, mapping software, GPS, guidance, and steering systems. Through collaboration with team members, you will provide guidance, technical support, and resources to customers using problem-solving skills and excellent communication. There will be opportunities to participate in customer training, field events, and industry trade shows. Your work will have a direct impact on farming operations across the world and contribute to advancement of current and future products. This role is based in Ames, IA but a hybrid schedule may be considered. Candidate must be able to reliably commute to Ames, IA when required.

Responsibilities
Provide outstanding technical support and customer service for customers via telephone or email
Gain expert knowledge through study, support and training on Ag Leader products
Process orders and document product and customer information
Provide input for continual improvement and development in a team environment
Assist Support Specialists with review of technical documents and presentations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Two-year degree in related Agricultural or technical field or equivalent work experience
Experience using a computer system to perform daily tasks
Understanding of basic electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and effectively communicate any problems encountered in daily work
Background in production agriculture preferred with aptitude for hardware and software technical systems
Previous customer service or in-field support experience preferred
